“Ready Graduate” measures whether students are ready for college and careers after high school and whether the percentage of students who are ready is improving from one year to the next.

The Ready Graduate rate represents the percentage of students who demonstrate readiness for college and careers after high school.

Why is this important?

Beyond graduation rate, it is important to know whether or not students are set up for success after leaving a school or district.

What does this mean?

This figure shows the rate of ready graduates over time. In other words, how many ready graduates are graduating in each year.

Why is this important?

This allows us to see how a school or district is improving, or not improving, in preparing ready graduates.

Why is this important?

This shows us how well students from various student groups are being prepared for postsecondary success.
